We took advantage of an opportunity to add to our Flint Hills ranch and acquired a ranch in northeast Kansas. Through the process of expanding JLB, we reevaluated the different production sectors. Rather than run stockers as in past years, we made the decision to completely stock JLB with our home-raised females, expanding our cow-calf operation. By early 2026, JLB will be 100% stocked with home-raised females. As a result, we will not have our female sale in 2025. However, we encourage you to watch for information about our fall 2026 commercial female sale!
